staying in nature
Our glamping site is an oasis surrounded by the city of Manhattan, KS and adjacent to Anneberg Park and the Linear Trail. Resting on the Cottonwood Limestone Ledge surrounded by oaks, hickorys, redbuds and an intermittent stream, our 13' (soon to be 16') Bell Tent sits on an elevated 20' x 24' platform. Wildlife including deer, turkey, owls, hawks at more veer through the glamping site along the same hiking trails readied for you to explore the woods and prairie. You may drive to the tent platform if necessary or park (2 vehicles) 50 yards away and hike-in. One queen sized bed with linens, chairs, potable water and a rug are found inside the tent. Stick furniture and lanterns are outside on the platform. 150 gallons of non-potable water, rain barrels, are on or near the platform. A wash area and campfire ring are also adjacent. A shower/bath (in our home 150 yards away) may be available (see bath linens). You may bring your own tents and place on or near the platform (see extra guests).
